Hi,
Does anybody know how the port security works with Cisco 500 Series. I can not restrict one mac-address to one port manually so, how does it works?

Depending on the Smartport Role you assign the CE500 design has a port security. For instance the port role Access Point will only allow a maximum of 30 MAC addresses only and the Ip Phone + Desktop will allow only 3 MAC addresses.

So by configuring smartport, you are also configuring port security.

What I mean is that I can not specify the maximum number of devices right? And just one device is allowed on the port
