Dear all,
I am currently using CM5.1 and i've realised that when we do a directory search, the user will not show when the search criteria does not include the begining of the of the criteria. For example,
If i'm looking for someone whose first name is John and if i enter hn, it will not come out but if i enter Jo then it will list those whose name begins with Jo.
Is there any parameters on callmanager where we configure for the directory search to show all the users that have the that particular character in anywhere of the name because i remember we do not have this problem in CM3.
Hope i am clear enough about this.

I don't have 5.x but I think you may be able to this.
Try using [ ] for any wild card or even use the standard dos format.
Good luck,
Baseer

I'm refering to the search on the corporate directory. The search is only successful if it hits the first characters of the seach criteria.
