I currently have a 2620 with two pri's installed in it. I need to add another vwic to support 10 more lines.

Will this router handle it?

Can someone give me a link to a doc on how i can tell this about my router and others for the future?

Thanks

Although it may work with an AIM-VOICE-30, seems a bit too much for a 2600 anyway. a 28xx or an as 5350 would be a better choice.

hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

Hey D0nprintup,

Have a read through this paper:

<http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps259/products_tech_note09186a0080100688.shtml>

I have skimmed over it and it would appear the the HDV module slots will be your only option. So if two is the max - then this is going to be your limit.

There's also this one:

<http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk652/tk653/technologies_tech_note09186a008039c333.shtml>

And finally:

<http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/access/acs_mod/cis2600/hw_inst/nm_inst/nm-doc/ovrnetm.htm>

hth,

Ajaz

Actually as I mentioned above a vwic or vwic2 would work if you also add aim-voice-30:

http://cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps274/products_tech_note09186a00800f9d37.shtml#c2600wic

But I woulr replace for another router anyway as the aim-voice-30 is older, limited technology.
