Cisco VPN Client with Windows VIsta

Hi All

am facing the problem in Windows Vista for using the Cisco VPN Client.

our project members has given pcf file and has client configuration to get connected to our client. this pcf file work with Windows XP fine. (seems my firewall is allowing vpn connection)

but while i copy same to Vista it says

"Secure VPN connection terminated locally by the client.

errir 403: unable to contact security gatewyay"

any body has idea plz suggest...

What version of the client are you using when you attempt access using Vista? Also is the VPN requiring firewall? There is not support in Vista client for firewall.

Hello

my issue has been resolved.

there is a service called Base Filtering Services running in background for Vista and has to disabled to make IP Sec VPN Client working.

after doing so it works smoothly.
