Hello,

I use CME4.0 on my router.

I've configured the music on hold in the telephony service.

But I can't hear yet the music on hold when I transfert a call.

I use IP Communicator.

What can I do if I want to hear the moh?

How to use the multicast addresse?

Thank you

This is expected behavior. CME supports MoH for PSTN and external g711 calls only. Local IP phone to IP phone calls receive tone on hold only.

You do have to use g711 for cme moh multicast. To make it work you need to put your MoH in a region that uses g711 to all other regions. This will allow a call that was g729 that was put on hold to look for the g711 multicast once it is transfered or placed on hold and back to g729 once the call is resumed.

I did have to add a loopback address on my cme router to get MoH to work to the PSTN.

I will try to post my config when I am back to work.

By the way, it took me a long time to finally get this working.
