VPDN - BBA Group config problems!

Unanswered Question

I wonder if someone can help, I have a router currently connected to the ISP using the vpdn config below...

vpdn-group pppoe

protocol pppoe

interface Ethernet0

pppoe enable

pppoe-client dial-pool-number 1

interface Dialer1

ip address negotiated

encapsulation ppp

dialer pool 1

dialer-group 1

ppp authentication chap callin

ppp chap hostname <omitted>

ppp chap password <omitted>

dialer-list 1 protocol ip permit

I have a new router which is running a later IOS version and therefore requires me to create BBA Groups, being new to me I created the following...

bba-group pppoe global

virtual-template 1

mac-address autoselect

interface FastEthernet0/0

no ip address

pppoe enable group global

pppoe-client dial-pool-number 1

dialer-list 1 protocol ip permit

...and it doesnt work, can anyone see where I am going wrong? I have followed an example config from Cisco but must e missing something!

Thanks in advance

I have this problem too.

You have to configure tunnel password under the first vpdn-group. Configuration of 'source-ip' under vpdn-group has no effect.

Due to multiple new features and added protocol flexibility, the VPDN group needs to substantially redesign the vpdn-group user

interface. Some of the new requirements are: load-sharing , dial-out, HGW and NAS services on a single tunnel.
