Unable to ping switch from console or VTY session.

I have a switch with one VLAN that is up and operational. Passing traffic ok. I can ping telnet to the switch with no problem from other devices. From the switch I can ping other devices no problem. I cannot ping the VLAN ip when consoled or in a VTY session on the switch. What am I missing. Any idea's?

You might have to post config to see if we can see anything . Can't think of anything that might cause what you are seeing . What kind of switch ? Is the uplink trunked at all ? Default gateway pointing to correct layer 3 routing address though you should be able to ping it directly if it is truly a single vlan and nothing else.
