SFP (MM) module and GBIC module

We have core switch WS-C3750G-12S-E support SFP module and existing switch are WS-C3524?XL?EN support GBIC and distance between core switch & edge switch is max 150 meters. I would like to know whether its will work to establish link between switches. Please assist us on this.

Using the proper modules & fibercables, this will certainly work. I have used the combination very often already without any problems.
