Dear experts
We work in a Company with over 800 Cisco devices
Using ATM with varios speeds ( from 4 Mb/s to 52 Mb/s )
On the Backbone ( redundated ) links We usually find a lot of CRC ( aalsnap5 enc. ) degradation.
Anyone has got a idea to shut the pirmary link upon a high degradation :
E.g
Can we tune a Map class or set something in the OAM retry ?
Actual on a bakbone ATM ( 52 Mb/s )

interface ATM9/0/0
description Link verso TO0NI04P 6/8

interface ATM9/0/0.50 point-to-point
description pvc verso RM0TU01P 2/12 --- WRM-TZW-02-ABR

Any suggestion is appreciated.

Using EEM, your trigger would be reaching of a certain interface error counter value, and action a configuration change. You have to familiarize yourself with the EEM programming model and this can't be easy at first.

And yes, I'm Italian.
Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

Excuse me, what means to tune a class map for OAM? You already have OAM.
What problem exactly you are trying to solve ?

You can use the EEM for this:

However I would focus on getting the Sp providing a reliable circuit in first place.

Hello Beviliqua
this document is very intersting. But I cannot see a clear propose to make an action after a Link is full of CRC errors.
