CCM 6.0

Guys i just got CCM 6.0(1a). i opened the box there are 2 dvd;s and one cd in it.....on a first dvd three things are written business edition 6.0(1a), unity connection 2.0, installation dvd....on the other cd it two things are written unity connection and system recovery....on the third dvd it says upgrade from 5.x to 6.0(1a)....no it mnight be stupid but can i ask which is the original one....or i shd have 5.x version and i can upgrade it from the dvd i got in the pack or the first one is for new installation on which unity 2.0 is written guess i m confused as i need to install it asap....please help m eout

you are still a little confusing. What is your end goal? CM6 or CM5? Remember, the server ships with a preloaded CM5 or CM6 on the drives. Just turn it on and start the process. (Hostname, IP address, passwords, etc) But if you are upgrading from 5.x to 6.x, you have to use DMA process to accomplish this. Which my guess, the DMA tool is on the 5x to 6x disc.

But be careful! I just did a CM6 install, used the preloaded version. Decided that I had to reload from scratch, so I used the DVD version, it was different from the preload. My advice, dont use the preload on the server, use the DVD it came with, insert the disc, then load.
