network setup with internet

I swear I am slowly but surely getting better at this. But I have another basic question. I have a new 3mbps circiut that goes directly to the internet. So far, I have the router setup and I am using a cross connect cable to my laptop to use this circuit. I want to set this up for my business in the following way:

internet --> router -->firewall -->switch --> end users (192.168.169.0)

i am confused on having the inside users going through the firewall and router out to the internet. we have done away with all of our nvpn circuits and will build tunnels to connect to other offices. at what point do i translate the inside ip address to the public ip whcih then goes to the circuit id?

hi

if you have enough public ip address then you can do the translation and other access restrictions on the firewall itself.

You can have your remote vpn users getting terminated onto the same box.
