We recently installed an FWSM on a 6506 chassis. however we encountered a "different trust states" hardware error on Cat6506 when we insert the module. Anyone know how to resolve this? Thanks in advance c",)
Try changing the slot in which you have put the FWSM module, if you get the same error try changing the FWSM module and check if you are getting the error. You may be hitting cisco bug CSCsj95905.
We tried inserting it in another slot and the same error occured. We tried it on another chassis and it worked fine. We have yet to reload the entire 6500.
