IAS with WLSM - now adding WiSM

Hi All,

I'm dealing with an existing Wireless network where,

- the Radius server is IAS.

- auth to AD behind IAS

- APs are autonomous 1231's

- there's WLSM's

We're adding

- WiSM

- 1242 Lighweight APs

Each WLAN has a static policy that applies to all clients associated

with an SSID. We don't want to do identity networking.

VSA'a are not being used.

Assuming I want to keep the same policies for wireless clients associated to new light-weight infrastructure as for the existing Autonomous infrastructure would I use the existing Remote Access Policy on the MS IAS and just add the WLCs as clients of it?

Thanks.

You are correct, that is assuming you want to use the same policies. Use the management interface ip on the IAS for remote client.
