Hello,

We changed the LMS 2.6 login to MS Active Directory under the AAA Security settings and now we cannot access it at all !!!.

We left the button checked for local admin fallback but this does not work.

What could be wrong ?

Scott.

Does it really fail to fall back, or maybe you just didn't wait long enough? I find it takes a longish time (~3 minutes) for LMS to fall back to local user, when the primary login method behaves poorly. This switchover value is hardcoded, so there's no way to make the fallback faster.

You can get out of this pickle using the "Resetting the Login Module" steps here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/cscowork/ps2425/products_upgrade_guides_chapter09186a00805af1d7.html

Then you can start troubleshooting the problem, by following the Q&A here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/cscowork/ps3996/products_user_guide_chapter09186a008022f962.html

"Q. I have configured the Active Directory Login Module but it does not work. How can I analyze the problem?

A. To analyze the problem, enable the Debug mode for the Active Directory Login module. To do this:

..."

Its now been several hours and a couple of reboots.

I have tried resetting the login module and get the following message.

D:\Program Files\CSCOpx\bin>perl ResetLoginModule.pl

Changing mode from ACS to CMF....

Already in CMF mode.

D:\Program Files\CSCOpx\bin>

and still cannot login !!
