How To config VG224 with MGCP AND SCCP

Is it possible to have the best of both worlds? Can I configure 12 ports as MGCP for Fax machines and the other 12 ports as SCCP for the Hookflash / polycom phones - MGCP only allows 1 Maximum Call per line.

Unfortunetely, not.

VG224 can only work as MGCP or SCCP, not both

Hi,

I have been able to configure a VG both in SCCP and MGCP and it works fine. I had originally programmed everything in SCCP but got into problems with faxes.

On the Faxes - try this on the ports.

stcapp register capability 2/0 modem-passthrough

stcapp register capability 2/1 modem-passthrough

stcapp register capability 2/2 modem-passthrough

stcapp register capability 2/3 modem-passthrough

stcapp register capability 2/4 modem-passthrough

etc. etc.
