Consoling & SSHing memory problem on 3750G

Hi,

I have a switch in production. Its a 48 port 3750G PoE. I need to access it and modify the config.

When I am consoling in, I get the error "INSUFFICIENT MEMORY, TRY AGAIN LATER"

When I am SSHing, it says "OPERATION TIMED OUT"

When using DFM, it gives me alert "INSUFFICIENTFREEMEMORY"

The switch is working fine otherwise. I don't want to reboot it.

Telnet is disabled on the switch.

Is there a way to fix this and prevent this from happenening in future.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

This is something that I've not seen or heard of before. What happens to pings to the switch - do they time out or are they slow?

There is only one time I've struggled with a console session to a router and it is when there was a big broadcast storm. Even then, I could get to the console, only the output was slow.

Unfortunately, you may need to reboot the switch but I would do so with a console connected to it to see what it tells you. Other than that, open a case with Cisco :-(

Sorry I can't help any more

Pings are fine. They aren't slow.

All switch functionalities are fine (including L3 fucntionality). The only problem is accessing through console or SSH (telnet is already blokced)
