I have an ASA5505 at home. Connected to a 10240/1280 DSL. I use a bit torrent client with a built-in scheduler set to connect to bit torrent-network at midnight and disconnect at 7 AM.
Every morning my connection is dead.
I can reach the asa with telnet/asdm and everything seems normal I've tried to shut down the host with the bit torrent, just to be sure, but it (the ASA) just won't forward any packets. I can communicate fine on the inside between several hosts (connected to same vlan on asa) but it the outside is completely dead.
I do a reload, and everything works perfect again, until next morning...
I've had similar problems with consumer-routers, that just can't take it, but I wouldn't expect this from an ASA?
Any ideas as to where to start debugging?
