CIPC and CME CTL Issue

I am seeing errors in the status menu of my CIPC saying 'CTL Update Failed' and 'TFTP timeout', the phone is able to register and make and recieve calls, however extension mobility and Services don't work...'Host not found' and the 'login' soft key is greyed out...

CME 4.1 on 2801.. CIPC over Win Client VPN. XP.

Tryed recreating cnf files...

1) you have "CTL update failed", it looks like you enable the security features in CCM, is it? If you do not need to let every phone in the system to be secured, you can set the system security in "mixed mode" soyou can select which phone should secured and which not.

Troubleshooting > Enable logging).
