I'm running into a problem here I'm trying to take off compression on a serial interface. I do the "no" form of the command on the remote router but then when I do the same on the local router I can no longer log back into the remoter router. I've done 2 other routers successfully just this one is giving me problems. Any advice would be greatfully appreciated...Here is the config on the remote end:

interface Serial0/0

ip address 172.19.98.198 255.255.255.252

ip accounting output-packets

ip nat inside

encapsulation frame-relay

no ip route-cache

ip ospf network point-to-point

no ip mroute-cache

fair-queue 64 256 0

service-module t1 timeslots 1-8

frame-relay map ip 172.19.98.197 16 broadcast IETF payload-compression FRF9 stac software

frame-relay lmi-type cisco

Thank you in advance

What exact command are you negating..

You only need to remove the compression but you would still require the MAP statement
