Hi all,
All is in the title !
Is there a way to reset a PIX515 to default configuration FROM MONITOR MODE.
Why in monitor mode ?
In fact I have sent a configuration using tftp into startup and reloaded the PIX. After this, the PIX boot normally until the loading of the configuration : At this point, there is a traceback and a dump of memory...
So I'm looking for a way to reset the configuration to default but I have only access using monitor mode.
Thanks

Ludovic, it is not possible to reset pix config to factory defualts in monitor mode as there is not code loaded in this mode, can you load a new code? if pix is crashing it is possible code is corrupted.. the only way to reset config to factory defaults is through pix configuration mode.

Hi,
Thanks for your answer.
The problem is not the code (actually 7.0(5)) because I have tried to boot on another code (8.0(2)) and the result is the same...
Thanks a lot, the only thing I can do now is a RMA !
Regards
Ludovic
