4.1 CME conferencing and DSP's

Unanswered Question

If I have say 2 PVDM2-16's in a 2811, or even say a PVDM2-16 and a PVDM2-8, how do I determine which PVDM is tied to conferencing and which is tied to terminating voice calls on my PRI?

I've read over quite a few of the DSP farm docs relating to hardware comferencing with 4.1 CME, but still am unclear how the actual allocation of the DSP resources is done. If someone has time to clear this up for me that would be great!

Thanks!

I have this problem too.

It is a largely discussed theme, sometimes obscure. If you want a good starter information source, try the GWGK course student guide. It has a good starting DSPFarm guide.

Hope it helps,
