Hi,
We notice high cpu load on our cat6500
1 of the processes is causing high load
Can someone explain to me what this process is, and why it might be so high.
This process is part of iosbase
7 18.2% 18.8% 17.3% 21 Intr 18h52m

why do u consider it is high cpu loading?
in my opinion, i know it is normal. If u continue to think this is the status of high cpu loading, pls note more information after knocking show process cpu.

Please post the output of:
#show process cpu
In my opinion this is not HIGH CPU utilization and i have seen CPU utilization going upto 85%

It is very difficult to catch the sh proc cpu usage when high cpu is showing up.
I noticed that this subprocess of ios base is showing that rate
In normal behaviour, this process is not showing up.
