Dear all,

I have Pix 520(6.3(3)) and i'd like to replace it with another one PIX525 (7.0 or 7.2(2)) But the problem is in the old config ( Conduit ,Fixup, interfaces , VPN and...)

how can i convert (move) the old config (6.3(3)) to the new one (7.2(2) or 7.0) and what about the activation key or the licence?

conduits are the big thing.

You will need to make an access-list containing all of your conduit statements. This access-list will need to be applied inbound on the outside interface using:

access-group in interface outside

Thats the biggest difference, alot of it will be similar. VPN would be another big difference. Check out the "group-policy" command and the "tunnel-group" commands and examples of each if you have VPN's terminating on the device.

yes there are many conduit commands and vpn too .

I have heard aout the tool conversion did u use it?
