Trying to monitor IGMP replies with a packet sniffer attached to G 1/0/11 of a Catalyst 3750.
Devices processing multicast streams attached to G 1/0/1 through G 1/0/8 (devices are receiving/processing multicast streams.
Monitor session 1 config:
Mon session 1 source int G 1/0/1 both
Mon session 1 source int G 1/0/2-3, 1/0/7-8 rx
Mon session 1 desination int g 1/0/11.
I am able to see IGMP reports from the switch and my packetsniffer/PC, as well as the IGMP queries from the switch, but cannot see any IGMP reports from the devices atttached to ports 1-3 or 7-8.
This configuration worked on an older catalyst 3550, but will not work on the 3750.
Suggestions?
Thanks

could it be that IGMP snooping was enabled on 3550 and disabled on your 3750?

Thanks.
It was actually reversed, snooping was enabled, disabling it and my mon session started recording IGMP reports from my hosts.
Guess I'll do some reading on snooping settings.
Thanks again
