Run Phone Service on Boot

Unanswered Question
Oct 16th, 2007

I am working on an xml app to verify physical locations for E911. I want the phone to POP a nag screen when the phone has been powered down/up. The screen will display their building name, and room number. It will allow them to change if necessary. Once they have verified it. I don?t want it to bother them until the phone has been rebooted again (possible location change) I can keep the screen nagging using the ?idle? property in the phone config. But I would prefer to just send the phone to a specific service link on boot. Any ideas??

I have this problem too.

You will need JTAPI to monitor phones in your environment and look for events related to phone reboot. I think CiscoTermOutOfServiceEv and CiscoTermInServiceEv sound like they might be corresponding events.
