VPN client stops routing!

Unanswered Question

Hi all

strange things happen... we have been running the VPN client for several years with a fair share of problems of course, but now we experience something completetly new! The last 3 weeks the client routing occasionally stops completetly when connecting to 3 of our 4 sites. I see no packets in or out of the client, except to this 4:th site. This happens to a LOT of clients all around the world. We are running 4.8 on XP... has anyone experienced something like this? The issue helps when rebooting, but not by unloading the Cisco VPN service or reseting the network card.

strange stuff,

I have this problem too.

This is due to a misconfiguration on the VPN at the central site. Make sure that the Group | Client Config settings for Split Tunneling Policy are correct. When the port is physically unplugged, the dynamic routes are removed much sooner. Something in the way the concentrator is designed to cause the concentrator to act differently,

depending on whether if the port is physically disconnected or only in admin shutdown
