FME question - coresident install and SQL2K

Unanswered Question

For my edification, if you install UCCX (in this case 4.0.5) co-resident, can you install it into the MSSQL2K db that already exists for CCM?

I know the Install Docs say that only MSDE is supported for IPCCX in a coresident (aka single-server deployment), but logically, it should work, and I would think that utilizing MSSQL2K that is already installed would actually save some resources instead of having to install another DB process.

Just wondering, mostly.

I have this problem too.

If you install IPCCX coresident with CallManager, you don't need to install MSSQL2K, because IPCCX is going to use the same SQL Server installation that CallManager.

So you will have all the SQL Server tools for the IPCCX databases because the SQL Server installation is the same.

Hope this helps,

Juan Luis
