users unable to connect to lan thru C4506 anymore.

no network / switchport changes made

switchports set to following:

spanningtree portfast

switchport mode access

vlan 1 is being used as default vlan

can ping dhcp server and rest of network

when users boot PC, they hang until network cable is unplugged. once they've logged in (cached credentials), network cable can be plugged back in and they work fine

issue is with this switch ONLY.....dhcp server shows no errors / events. all other users on other switches connected to same network have NO issues.

IOS: 12.2.18(EW) --- i know.....OLD. dont know if THIS would cause SUDDEN problem.
