Hi,
Could someone clarify me how does a secondary virtual forwarder assumes the role of the active virtual forwarder between rest, when an AVF fails? (is there any priority?)
Thanks a lot

Yes, there is a priority - just like HSRP and VRRP.

Hello Edison,
Thanks for your reply.
What really confuses me about the "priority" is that -as your link describes- is used for election and redundancy of the AVG(gateway) not a AVF.
Also in any command reference the "priority" is described as a way to affect the election and redundancy of the VFG for a group.
I don't think that there is any command for setting the priority for a virtual forwarder number.
I would really appreciate any response.
Thanks

You are right, I should've read your query more carefully. On GLBP, both routers will be forwarding. There isn't a priority on what device forwards the packet, it relies on the selected algorithm to make that decision.
