7911 SIP image

Hi.

A couple of months ago I bought two 7911.

The last week I try to register one of this phones against a SIP server but I dint know how to upgrade the image from SCCP to SIP.

Someone know which files I need in my tftp to upgrade it?

Hi,

the matter is that to download the SIP image files, you need to register a support contract (aka smartnet) for the phone. It is not expensive and should be available from any serious authorized cisco reseller.

Hi

I already download the Sip image into the phones, but those doesn't register in the Sip server. In the XML archives I also point to the Sip server IP, but nothing yet. Do I need to edit more parameters of the XML files, if so, which ones?

Any ideas

on the same site there are many articles regarding use of cisco phones with third-party SIP.
