6509 not passing FTP TCP Port 1985 connections?

We have a 6509 MSFC3 12.2(18)SXF7 and we notice that our passive FTP connections thru tcp port 1985 never makes it thru the switch? What's odd is all other ports work fine (ie tcp 1984 & 1986) normal tcp handshake. We took a capture on several portions of the network end-to-end and the original SYN never makes it out of the switch to its final destination and this only happens to tcp port 1985. Has anyone seen anything like it? Please Help!

Are you sure that you don't have any access list or Firewall enabled on the Switch? is your packet correctly constructed....CRC error?

Positive no acl's infact in another capture we notice the ACK never makes it to the the 6500. We took a sniff on the client and on the directly connected trunk we don't even see the ACK leaving? So we can safely say that the CEGSM 3020 cisco blade switches are having issues...Any ideas?
