Yes, it works on 2600 Series router and you can have two different series. You can actually share a HSRP group with a Layer3 switch.

is it possible on 2611 and 2620 coz the thing is dat i am not having L3 device

Yes, it is possible. They are both L3 devices.

Yes you can have HSRP configured betwen 2611 and 2620 routers. As you mentioned you are not having L3 device is not very clear as both of them are routers and routers are L3.


Are you saing you don't have l3 switch? You can very well configure HSRP between your 2611 and 2620 routers.
