IEV with CSM 3.1.1 mysql database index corruption

Hello,

We use Cisco IPS Event Viewer version 5.2(2.5) and we have a problem with the mysql database. Sometime, we can not execute views because database index become corrupt. We use myisamchk.exe to repair the index but someone know how avoid the problem?

This is one error that we get when we try to execute view : Null: Incorrect key file for table: 'event_realtime_table'. Try to repair it S1000 1034

You should try stopping the MySQL service and then delete the following files event_realtime_table.frm, event_realtime_table.MYI and event_realtime_table.MYD from mysql\data\alarmDB directory. After this restart the MySQL service.
