Router POST

When I do a reload or reboot the router, the POST doesn't show any information. It comes back at the user prompt, Router>. What seems to be the problem?

Thanks in advance,

sK

Where are you plugged in ? If you are plugged into the AUX port you will not see anything until the router is totally booted which is why we always use the console port to config because you can see the whole boot process via the console port.

Yes, I was plugged in the Console port. Everything was fine and I had reloaded the router many many times but now it won't show the POST info. Also, when I try to setup a password on the console, it won't apply it.

Thanks,

sK
