HI all

Can anyone help with this question please.

which cable to use between 2 buildings which are 55 meters apart and have different voltage. what is the right answer and why?


A. UTP

B. STP

C. COAXIAL

D. FIBER

... and the "why" is because all the others are electrical cables, and so there might be a problem due to the difference in reference voltage between the two buildings. The fiber cable, on the other hand, does not conduct electricity at all, so the reference voltages do not matter. The cable is effectively an "opto-isolator".
