X25 over ip in mpls vpn l3 environment

Good day all,

We have to migrate a router to PE but this router has one interface configure with x25 without ip address. Normally this router has to join another x25 router with x25/ip. How can we proceed to the configuration to bring x25 into the vrf ?

How to configure x25 over ip between PE-PE into Mpls vpn layer 3 ?

Any help 'll be really appreciated.

Hi,

mpls doesn't care about the traffic it carries.

So as long you can ping both routers, you XOT will be fine.

i agree with you about about the fact that the mpls don't care about the traffic it carries.

Suppose that R2 and R3 are PE, PE-PE are linked by mpls.x25 traffic goes througth vrf name TEST.

How can we perform this task ?

Hi,

As I was saying before, as long each PE router can ping the other, XOT traffic will be OK.
