Intermittent dropped calls

Customer is dropping intermitent calls to the PSTN (CCM 4.1 with MGCP gateway) and to internal H.323 Conferencing unit. Calls are "live" for anywhere between 2-30 minutes before being dropped. Internal calls have no problems.


No configuration changes have been done over the last month. Network has been overprovisioned by a large amount so were no lacking resources. No layer 2 QOS/congestion issues, no layer 3 QOS/congestion issues. No Slip or alarms on T1 interfaces. Any suggestion on what is causing calls to drop? CCM/MGCP stay registered, layer 3 remains active. No firewall in scenario.


Any ideas of what could be happening.

which Phone firmware version are u using? upgrade the phone fw on one phone and see if that solves the problem.
