Solved: MGCP CCM 5.x Router2811 NOT REGESTERING

Hi,

I can not register de MGCP with the CCM 5.x

I always get the message Regestering with CM, but the MGCP never registers.

Can anyone help me?

In attacth there are the running config of the router(MGCP), and MGCP debug.

Anyone?

He has his hostname on the gateway set to "router".

That is most likely what the CM is seeing.

Hi Andre,

It's likely the Domain name issue outlined in this doc (I noticed that your config is set at the default - router);

Change your hostname to something unique.

Make sure the hostname is the same inside of CM.

That is how CM knows how to register the gateway. What is happening right now is your router is sending the requests to the CM but the CM doesn't know what to do with them.

Check the Application log in the CCM server, that's how you can see which name is the CCM receiving and just use the exact same name in the GW configuration page.

Hi,

in the CCM i put the ip address of the gateway and not the domain name... Might this be the problem?

I don't know how to see the application log on the CCM...

Hi again,

that was the problem...I realy had to have the host name instead of the ip address of the gateway,although i thought it be better to use IP.
