Splash Page Without Web Passthrough on 4402?

I have a 4402 and would like to setup a splash page (probably external) that says "Thanks for using our free WiFi". I don't want the click 'Accept', just have them browse the Internet. I could use Web Passthrough, however, this requires the user to click 'Accept' to use the WiFi. I'm looking for a way to have a splash page without using Web Passthrough. Is this even possible? If so, how do I go abouts setting it up? TIA.

Can you modify the web page and comment out or remove the click "Accept" and have a javascript run to count down a 5 or 10 second timer and then redirect?

Scott is correct, but you will need to hide the accept bbutton use some sort of script to count down with accept.
