URGENT: Need Advice for DMVPN

hi,

Need advice on dmvpn!!!

We will be deploying a DR site for Data Center.

The DR and HO will have Cisco 3845 ISR as the HUB routers and branches will be using 2801-ISR. Routing protocol will be OSPF and spokes will be not more than 100 in near future. The question is:

1- default configuration of 3845 (64 flash & 256 dram) is sufficient.

2- what bandwidth should the HO and DR site should have?

I have seen examples on cisco.com but most are with 7200 or 6500 series.

Thanks for the config, but at the moment configuration is not the issue. Needed an opinion on router(s) default config, link bandwidth and efficiency.

have a look at the following document:

Apart from configuration examples, it also provides DMVPN performance data for various routers.

If you already have 3845 and your hub site doesn't need more then couple dozen Mbps, you could try it for starter. If you expect more than 50Mbps of traffic on DMVPN, then you should look at 7200 NPE-G2 with service adapter (unlike 3845 there's no crypto HW built in 7200).
