Recover router

Dear All,

While doing a password recovery on 2691 router, i accidentally changed the config register value to 0x2162 instead of 0x2142. Now i get all junk while booting the router.

Is there a way where i can undo this mistake?

Yes, try different baud rates on the terminal until you get the right one. If I have calculated right, 19200 should do the trick.

Hi Gautham ,

Chnage the baud rate starting from Min. value to Max.value and check whether you are getting rommon mode at one particular value.
