Pix firewall always hang!

Hi,

I have a Pix firewall 501, the pix firewall always will hang and need to reboot may times only it can function.

Pls advise what actually the problem is, there is only 2 users attach to this Pix firewall.

I think that if you want to get some help in this forum you need to provide a little bit more detail.

What do you mean the firewall is hanging? You can't access it or it doesn't work at all? If you can't access it, have you tried all methods (telnet,ssh,pdm)?

If I understood correctly you need several reboots before the PIX works again? If this is the case it's definitely an hardware issue and I would advise you to contact Cisco.

Again, if you want people to try to help you, at least take some time to explain the problem.
