Hi,

I issued the 'sho dot11 assoc' command on my 1100. This 1100 is configured for a single SSID of AirYork. The results (shown below) show the associations to the AirYork SSID but it also shows other MACs that are 'not related to any ssid'. I've tried finding an explanation in the docs but have had no success. Does anyone know what these 'Other' MACs are?

-----------------------------------------

802.11 Client Stations on Dot11Radio0:

SSID [AirYork] :

MAC Address IP address Device Name Parent State

0016.6f7a.ec37 130.63.229.21 unknown - self Assoc

0016.6f8a.1d1a 130.63.229.234 unknown - self Assoc

001b.779d.76bb 130.63.229.166 unknown - self Assoc

Others: (not related to any ssid)

MAC Address IP address Device Name Parent State

0014.a485.5dcc 0.0.0.0 unknown - self Auth_not_A

0014.a57b.7fd8 0.0.0.0 unknown - self Auth_not_A

001a.70ec.bba0 0.0.0.0 unknown - self Auth_not_A

001a.735b.5a37 0.0.0.0 unknown - self Auth_not_A

.......thanks in advance........J

These might be a rogue client trying to access the network and but not provided access which is evident from "Auth_not_A " and ip address 0.0.0.0
