I am in a remote office and via VPN I am trying to connect using the IP Communicator Softphone. I cannot connect and get "CTL update failed" in the status messages. The home office insists they have registered my MAC address and that the problems is due to my running a Vista platform. However, when I log on to Unified CallManager User Options - my device doesn't show. The home office insists this is because the unit has never connected. Can that be right?
