6509 Switch - Lost Management Capabilities

I've lost complete management to my 6509 switch. I can't ping or telnet to the switch. I've consoled into it, and do not know what the problem is. Does anyone know what the problem can be or how I can fix it? This 6509 is running ver 12.28 [SXF7]

Can you ping from the switch to other devices on the same segment or different segment ?


Check the ip routing table (show ip route).


Check the layer3 interfaces are up/up (show ip interface brief).


Check cpu processes for any high utilization (show processes cpu).
