IPv6 Tunnels and Multiple Addresses

Hello,

Wondering if some kind expert will help me out.

In IPv6, it is possible to assign multiple IPv6 addresses to an interface. What about when you tunnel IPv6 over IPv4?

I noticed that when I had two IPv6 addresses mapped to one end of the tunnel, the tunnel was up, but I could not ping the other end.

Jason,

Not sure whether this is normal behavior or not. May I ask what is the purpose of specifying two addresses on the tunnel interfaces.

No particular purpose. It was to better understand whether the tunnel behaved similarly to a regular interface in IPv6, given that in IPv6 you can assign multiple IPv6 addresses to an interface.
