Intro Exam

Just took and failed with 733, better than i expected to be honest. Thatll teach me to study next time, although i did get caught out by a few questions which i wasnt expecting, and the simulation question baffled me as i couldnt get it to work, so left it!

Anyway at the bottom of the score report it breaks it into 3 parts:

Design and Support 100%

Implementation and operation 47%

Technology 66%

What are these 3, as in what should i be studying to pass it next time?

I have this problem too.

I took the INTRO exam last summer and passed it with an 875 score. My breakdown was:

Design and Support 100% (must be an easy category)?

Implementation and Operations 79%

Technology 80%

I think the Design and Support are all the subnetting questions. I got my simulation to work but did it incorrectly. I'm sure I got partial credit for it.

If you are using the Cisco Press books, they break down which chapters are aligned with the exam topic category. It takes a bit of work but you can review those chapters for the areas you need to bring up your score to a passing level.

Do not fear - I have failed the CCNA exam twice but now I am half way there! I have my ICND exam scheduled November 5.
