Intergrating non cisco phones to cisco CME.

Hi,i have an ip phone from a diffrent vendor that i would like to intergrate into the current cisco ip telephony network,its a GRANDSTREAM GXP2000,how do i go about doing this.Please help.

Hi, configure voice register global, dn and pool. Also configure voice service voip -> sip -> registrar.

If the phone is local on LAN you can configure use id(under pool) w/ mac address.

Else set mac id mac to all 0, configure username (same as tel number) and password under voice register pool, and correspondingly on the phone.

Under pool also set the codec g711u or what you want to use, or a voice-class for codec list.

In case of problems collect output of "debug ccsip message" taken with "term mon", and post toegether with config here.
