Netflow on 6506-E with Sup 720 and IOS 12.2(18)SXF8

Answered Question

Hi Guys,

I am running many switches with identical hardware, IOS level and Netflow configuration. they are all working, except the last unit configured.

The last units is configured as bellow. Some interfaces are reporting Netflow and some not. The ones configured with netflow are not reporting and some of the interfaces not configured are reporting - not all.

All to the same Netflow Server. I tried pretty much everything but no luck. Clearing the netflow table, deleteing and re-entering netflow configuration.

Any clues?

Is ip cef enabled globally?

Then I would add the following to my config. To put the interface and routing information into the NetFlow Exports:

mls nde interface

mls flow ip interface-full

To break up long flows into roughly 1 minute segments:

mls aging long 64

Export the finished flows in a timely manner.

mls aging normal 32
