I am using a couple of 2948s with catos 8.4(4) temporarily just to extend a VLAN. But they keep trying to find an address for themselves. How do you tell them to stop seeking an address? Thanks.
If you just want an unmanaged switch console into the switch and issue a clear config all command and this will set it back to factory defaults .
